Panorama
A panorama is a photographic representation of a property or landscape from a particularly wide angle lens.
A Panorama is a 2D Image that can be integrated into 3D tours. Rolled out on a screen, it shows typical round deformations. Viewed with an AR app or VR glasses, these distortions disappear and you have a realistic image in all directions.
Virtual Tour
A virtual tour is the linking of panoramas to form an interactive tour.
Technically it subsumes:
Interactive Tours, Moving Pictures, 360Degree Tour, Virtual Tour, 360Degree Tour or 360° Panoramas.
3D Capturing / Scan

A floor plan/map shows the user where he/she is in the virtual tour.
Hotspot
A POI, hotspot or tag is a point in a virtual tour that can be clicked on.
The click is usually associated with an action. For example, with one click you can navigate to the next panorama or call up pictures, videos, or further information.
POI Menu
A list of hotspots included in the virtual tour is displayed. Clicking on an entry automatically takes you to the hotspot position in the virtual tour.
